Energy efficiency in the construction sector in the Mediterranean (MED-ENEC)

The overall objective of this project was to give a boost to Energy Efficiency measures and to the use of solar energy in the construction sector, in order to reduce energy supply requirements and the ever-growing impact on the environment of air-conditioning installations, thereby mitigating their impact on climate change. Service providers for Energy Efficiency (EE) and Renewable Energy Applications provided cost-effective solutions (for building owners and developers and communities) to reduce environmental impacts.
